IceFishingCL is a small, owner-run outfitter built around a single idea: the finest fishing in Chile happens far from anyone else. We hold access to private beats, estancia water and helicopter-only headwaters from the Lake District to Tierra del Fuego — and we take a handful of anglers there each season, never more.
Every expedition is planned around you: your casting, your species, your pace. Between fishing days you return to a lodge with a fire lit, a cellar of Chilean wine and a guide who has already read tomorrow's weather.
The waters
Patagonia is not a single destination. Each region fishes differently, peaks at a different moment of the season, and rewards a different kind of angler.
Region one — Los Lagos
Explore the breathtaking rivers of Maullín, Petrohué and Puelo. Perfect for anglers seeking crystal-clear waters, wild trout and Pacific salmon surrounded by ancient forests and volcanoes.
Region two — Aysén
The fly fishing capital of Chile. Fish the legendary Simpson, Palena and Baker Rivers, home to massive wild trout and powerful Chinook salmon in one of the world's last untouched wildernesses.
Region three — Magallanes
Experience the ultimate fly fishing adventure near Torres del Paine National Park and Tierra del Fuego, where legendary sea-run brown trout reach record-breaking sizes in pristine waters.

How a trip runs
Tell us your dates, your group and the fish you want. We reply within one working day with two or three honest options.
Your planner builds the itinerary: region, lodges, water, flights and every transfer in between. One document, one price, nothing hidden.
Land in Santiago and connect south. Licences and permits are already issued and waiting in your name.
Met at arrivals and taken onward by vehicle, floatplane or helicopter depending on the region. Rods go with you.
Settle in, rig up, and walk the home pool before dinner. Your guide talks through the week over the first glass.
Six to eight hours on private water each day, adjusted to conditions. Streamside lunch, then the evening rise.
Transfer back to the airport with your catch log, photographs and the fly that worked. Rebook for next season if you like.
